Brandon Jones: Psychotherapist, Podcaster, Writer, Consultant and Founder of Jegna Institute.
I brings a down-to-earth and compassionate attitude to Mental Health. As a psychotherapist, speaker, podcaster, and writer. I have written a Column (entitled Jegna) for the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder since 2012. Some of my specializations are in personal development, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), Historical and Intergenerational trauma, Social/Emotional Intelligence (EQ), Leadership, and Child Development. Born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota, I have survived living in a home of domestic violence and various other forms of trauma. I hold a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Minnesota, a Master’s in Community Psychology from Metropolitan State University, and a Master’s in Psychotherapy (MFT) from Adler Graduate School. I am also a 2013 Bush Foundation Leadership Fellow. I live by the motto of “If you can manage your emotions, you can manage your situation.”
